How to Do Trx Atomic Push Up
The trx atomic push up should begin with a good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the trx atomic push up.
Beginning
Beginning Trx Atomic Push Up
1. Adjust the TRX system so that it is 12" above ground.
2. Body is facing the ground with the head positioned closest to the TRX system.
3. Both feet are placed toes-first, deeply into foot cradles.
4. Assume a 'push-up position' where the tailbone is the highest point.
5. Do not allow hips to sag toward the floor.
Movement
Trx Atomic Push Up Movement
1. Perform a suspended push-up.
2. Keep core engaged and do not allow hips to sag.
3. At top of push-up, drive the hips high in the air and pull knees into the chest in a reverse crunch motion.
4. Return to beginning plank position in a controlled manner.
