How to Do Lateral Multiplanar Step Up to Balance, Curl, and Press
The lateral multiplanar step up to balance curl and press should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.
If any pain is experienced, immediately stop the lateral multiplanar step up to balance curl and press.

1. Begin holding the dumbbells palms facing the chest.

1. Step sideways onto a platform four to eight inches in height.
2. Bring up the other foot and hold at a 90° angle while you keep telling it tight by drawing the belly button in towards the spine.
3. Press dumbbells overhead.
