How to Do 45 Degree Rows With Trx

Each 45 degree rows with trx should begin with a good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.

Beginning 45 Degree Rows

1. Stand at a 45-degree angle to the floor, with your feet roughly shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent.

2. Drive your elbows towards the sky while holding a dumbbell in each hand to perform the 45-degree row exercise.

Movement

1. Adjust the TRX system so that it's at its shortest, then face the equipment, and grasp the handles with your palms at about 45 degrees to the ground.

2. Fully extend your arms in front of you at chest height. Lean back and walk your feet forward. The further forward you walk your feet, the harder the exercise will be.

3. Place your feet a few inches apart, with your weight pushed back onto your heels. Your heels, knees, hips, shoulders, and head are in a straight line.

4. Tighten your abdominal muscles to help you maintain your alignment and pull your shoulder blades back and down. This is the start position.

5. Drive your shoulders back and out to the side to bring your chest forward and up. At the top of the movement, your upper arm should make a 45 degree angle with your shoulder. Pause for a moment, then slowly straighten up your arms to lower your body back to the start position. Remember to keep your heels, knees, hips, shoulders, and head in a straight line throughout the exercise.

6. Make sure that you don't jerk your hips forward to perform the exercise. If you find yourself doing this, slide your feet backward a little. This will reduce the difficulty of the exercise.
