How to Do Lumbar Traction in Prone Position Stretch on Ball
This flexibility exercise may be performed by healthy exercisers who have good CORE strength and balance.
Keep the tummy pulled in throughout this movement. If any pain or discomfort is experienced, discontinue this exercise.

Beginning Lumbar Traction in Prone Position
To begin this exercise, kneel on the floor with a stability ball placed in front of you.
Movement
Lumbar Traction in Prone Position Movement
1. Allowing the ball to roll forward, crawl on top of the ball until it is positioned directly below the belly. Allow the legs to straighten. Spread the feet wide and plant the palms of your hands on either side of the ball on the floor for balance. Hold this position for 20-30 seconds.
