How to Do Single Leg Balance With Stick Handling
Each single leg balance with stick handling should begin with good posture to avoid injury. Brace the spine by drawing your lower abdomen inward. Your core muscles should be activated to support your posture as you perform the exercise.

1. Stand on one leg with the knee bent to approx. 20 degrees.
2. With the head up and gaze straight ahead, grab the dowel rod like a stick as shown.
3. Keep the chest tall and perform stickhandling drills around your body.
4. Start with a small range of motion in rotation.
